GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

On Tuesday, November 30, 2021 we are asking our community to give back to the Music in the Mountains Scholarship Fund. No amount is too small to make a difference! Just think, if we had 2,000 people give just $20 that would be $40,000! That amount would fund over 55 students that qualify for our scholarship fund. Please help us fund and forward our music education mission at the Music Academy of WNC by participating in our GivingTuesday campaign.

Music In The Mountains Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a 501c3, North Carolina Non-Profit, located in Hendersonville, North Carolina. We were founded in 2020 as the nonprofit arm of the Music Academy of WNC to meet the music educational financial needs of Henderson and surrounding counties. We provide financial need and talent-based scholarship funding for individuals to attend private music lessons, music-related classes, workshops, and camps; pre-college and collegiate music programs, and other music-related educational activities. Our funding is provided by individuals and corporate donors and is tax deductible in accordance with Federal and State law.
